Kotarides Companies is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Pipe Crew Foreman for our rapidly growing company.  Kotarides takes pride in managing a portfolio of over 4,500 apartments with exceptional customer service. The Pipe Crew Foreman position is responsible for overseeing and completing different projects for our residential and apartment projects.

Work performed will include, but is not limited to:

• Leading a crew in a specific task in a safe, organized and efficient manner.
• Performing physical labor while leading crew to complete task.
• Read plans/ blueprints and use various tools for reading elevation
• Operate various equipment/ vehicles and train crew members as needed on said equipment/ vehicles (skid steer, tractor, excavator, dump truck, truck w/trailer)
• Lay out, assemble and install various sizes/types of pipes.
• Take instructions from supervisors and provide feedback/ideas on completing tasks.
• Instruct and direct laborers, construction helpers and contractors.
• Attention to detail, quality and cleanliness.
• Must be able to travel within Virginia and North Carolina
• Must be willing to assist other crews with projects related to Kotarides Companies. (Including, but not limited to landscape install, landscape maintenance, grading, hardscapes, concrete work, pipe install, apartment work, etc.)

Qualifications

• 5+ years drainage/grade experience
• 5+ years skid steer/excavator experience
• 5+ years as crew foreman
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
